Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No. The merge happens entirely in your browser using the pdf-lib library. Your files never leave your device, which makes this safe for confidential documents.
Is there a limit on file size or count?
There is no fixed limit, but very large files use more memory because everything is processed in the browser tab. Merging a handful of normal documents is instant; hundreds of megabytes may be slow on low-end devices.
Can I choose the page order?
Yes. Use the up and down arrows to set the order of the files before merging. Pages are added in the order shown, top to bottom.
Does it keep bookmarks, forms, or links?
Page content, text, images, and vector graphics are preserved. Some interactive features like form fields and document-level bookmarks may not carry over, since pages are copied individually.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
It attempts to load encrypted PDFs, but a file that needs a password to open may fail. Remove the password first, then merge.
Is it free?
