How to Use Remove Background
- Upload a photo. Drag a file onto the box or click to choose one. JPG, PNG, and WebP all work, and the original shows so you can compare.
- Start the cutout. Click Remove background. The first run downloads a one time AI model to your browser, so give it a moment, then it is cached for next time.
- The subject is separated. The model runs on your device and works out which pixels are the subject and which are the background, then makes the background transparent.
- Download the transparent PNG. When the result appears on a checkerboard, click Download PNG to save a full quality cutout with a see-through background.
