How to Use Random Sample List Online

- Set how many and the repeat option. Choose how many items to draw and whether the same item can be picked more than once.

How random is the sample?
It uses your browser cryptographic randomness where available, which is far more even than a simple guess, so every item has a fair chance.
What does “allow repeats” do?
With it off, each item can be drawn at most once, so the sample has no duplicates. With it on, the same item can come up more than once, so you can draw more items than the list holds.
Can I draw more items than the list has?
Only with repeats allowed. Without repeats, the sample is capped at the number of items in the list.
Will I get a different result each time?
Yes. Each press draws a fresh random sample, so press again whenever you want another.
Is my list uploaded?
No. The sampling runs in your browser and your list never leaves the tab.
