Frequently Asked Questions

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The split happens in your browser with the pdf-lib library, so your file stays on your device. Safe for confidential documents.

How do I write the page range?

Use commas to separate single pages and ranges, for example 1-3,5,8-10. Pages are 1-based and are extracted in the order you list them, so you can also reorder while you extract.

Can I extract a single page?

Yes. Just enter that page number, for example 7, to get a one-page PDF.

Does it change quality?

No. Pages are copied exactly as they are, with text, images, and vector graphics preserved. There is no re-encoding.

What happens to the pages I did not select?

They are simply left out of the new file. Your original PDF is not modified.

Is it free?

Yes, completely free with no signup and no watermark.
